Constantinos Zavos

  

Constantinos A. Zavos, has extensive knowledge and experience investing in growth, emerging growth and established operating companies. Moreover, he has invested in and developed real estate projects in Cyprus, Greece, Romania and the USA, focusing largely on projects involving raw land. Constantinos has also held directorship roles within various commercial entities including FF&Ecompanies supplying hotels and restaurants, commercial and residential real estate companies and home automation companies. He has also created a wholesale supply brokerage company in Cyprus, CAZ Estates Limited, which sells high-yielding tenanted property in the USA to investors around the world. The company has sold through its network over 450 properties in recent years. Additionally, he has created Optimus Alliance which markets its own projects globally.

Mr. Zavos is also the Chairman of DAZ Development LLC. The company currently owns and develops 126 town homes in the Disney area in Orlando Florida, USA. He is currently involved with other partners in various projects in Florida, USA, relating to the development and subsequent leasing of commercial land to quality tenants, among which Starbucks, and also a 77-acre commercial project close to Disneyworld which will include 400 residential units and multiple commercial units and hotels. Mr. Zavos holds an MBA degree from Webster University, a Master’s Degree in Management and Business Administration from Westminster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Business Administration from the University of Reading, in England.

Omiros Pissarides

  

Omiros Pissarides has been with AXIA Ventures Group, one of the most prominent regional investment banks with offices in Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Italy, UK and USA, since 2010. Omiros currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer and Group General Manager, while he also sits on AXIA’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Before AXIA, Omiros was the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of a family office with an investment portfolio consisting of listed equities, real estate and hospitality industry assets. Prior to that, he was the Regional Channel Manager for Middle East, Africa and Pakistan of Nasdaq-quoted Intermec Technologies, executing a significant number of transactions and developing local partners and businesses across a range of countries. 

 Before Intermec, Omiros was the General Manager of Logicom Dubai, leading the company’s expansion and achieving exceptional turnover growth across the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Omiros has also worked for Arthur Andersen during the period 1998 to 2000. Omiros holds an MBA and a Diploma in Management from Imperial College and a BSc in Economics and Accounting from Hull University. He has received a number of academic awards, most notably Imperial Colleges’ Joan Woodward memorial prize. Omiros also holds the Advanced Examination of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, is a full member of the UK’s Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and sits on the Board of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association since 2013.

John Sergides

John Sergides is the Chief Executive Officer for MUFG Investor Services where he is responsible for the day to day running of the business focusing on MUFG’s strategic growth plan, building a strong organization with exceptional service to clients.

Working closely with the executive team to deliver on the company’s financial, cultural and client commitments, John’s reporting lines oversee Strategy, Operations, HR and the firms Sales, Product and Marketing functions. This includes a global financing business to the Asset Management industry, and multiple other balance sheet products such as FX, Agency Lending and Banking.

Formerly the Deputy CEO and Head of Business Development for MUFG Investor Services, John brings a wealth of experience from a range of roles in the investment management industry. 

Prior to joining MUFG John worked at institutions such as Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. During his tenure in the industry John has been responsible for restructuring, taking underperforming teams and developing them in to profitable groups within organizations. 

Earlier, John worked as a senior trader for the HSBC Group. Prior to this John worked for Barclays Capital in both London and Tokyo.

John also holds several Non-Executive Director positions including Arkadia Asset Management based in Zurich and Amathus capital, a Real Estate Fund domiciled in Cyprus investing in international real estate and previously in a European provider of healthcare services. John is also on the Board of Innovation for Rutgers university in the US.
